Realme an “independent brand “ is busy in expanding its portfolio on introducing exclusive midrange smartphones dominating India’s budget smartphone segment. The company with a series of smartphones already proved what it can make. Now it didn’t hesitate to come up with another model that boasts trendy 48 Mp camera sensor.
According to a recent report, after unveiling Realme 1 and Realme 2 as well as Realme 2 Pro. The company is now gearing up to launch Realme 3 in the Indian market. The report includes the new smartphone would launch in the first quarter of 2019. That is expected to debut before the end of March this year.
While details of the upcoming smartphone are still to be disclosed. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has also said in an interview that the company is working on a smartphone with the 48-megapixel camera sensor. But he didn’t confirm that if this is the Realme 3 or some other model.
Realme also has plans to come up with some of the other exclusive experience stores. In an interview with Indian Express, Madhav Sheth said that the company is currently working on the company’s structure and principles and is yet to finalize the location for its first experience store.
As per the report it is expected that Realme Exclusive store may open in the second-half of 2019 (H2, 2019). With new FDI policy in place from February 1, no company will be able to sell more than 25 per cent of their products exclusively on e-commerce portals like Flipkart and Amazon. So the Realme likely expanded its presence to the offline market. Just apart from that, it had as of now also entered into a partnership with Reliance Digital to sell its smartphones across more than 1,300 locations in 130 cities.
As per the latest findings by CMR, Realme had the maximum growth rate in smartphone shipment during the festive season in India. Being separated from Oppo for a year it has turned out to be the number one emerging brand during the September-October period. We look forward to seeing more information on Realme Exclusive stores.
