We tend to spend a lot of time applying make-up, and hardly any in removing it. Ladies, it is important to look good, but it is also important to stay good looking. Most makeup does harm to our skins, and it is essential to remove it with good makeup removing products. Just rinsing it with water is going to do not good, and it will definitely not help you get rid of all the dirt that has landed on your face and stuck there due to your make-up. Moreover, nowadays make-ups come waterproof, so good luck trying to remove that lipstick or that eyeliner in one go. Our skin needs to breathe and all the essential oils that are important for its revitalization.
Go to Nykaa as I did and order yourself some make-up remover products. A website like Nykaa makes sure that it provides you with the right product to apply great stuff, and also remove it when the time is up.
Here are some of my preferences for economic and yet good range, all of which are available on Nykaa –
1. Facial Oil
I prefer this Nykaa’s own facial oil. It has many options to select from, and you can go for whichever you prefer. This oil is rejuvenating and good for the skin.
2. Nail Polish Remover
Nail Polish is a very common, and rather comparatively longer lasting part of the makeup process. However, over time it chips off and not to mention that longer applies to certain not so good brands results in yellow nails. Nails need their share of minerals too. If a remover is not good, it leaves the side skin with the leftover shade of the nail polish colour. It also harms the nails and takes a lot of time and rubbing to take effect. My preference is Colorbar and Lakme Nail polis removers.
3. Face Make Up Remover
Maybelline is a leading brand in makeup and remover too. Face cleaning is very important since it the part that is most exposed to harmful sun rays, chemicals, dust and every problem there is. And what is more, most makeup is applied on the face. My advice – Never go to bed with makeup on, no matter how tired you are. I prefer this Maybelline Makeup Remover. It is simple and sleek.
4. Wet Wipes
Wet wipes are an important item, and they are travel-friendly. You do not require water to clean your face since these wipes already have the essentials poured into a tissue. A groundbreaking idea, whoever invented those, if you ask me. Wet Wipes should be used multiple times a day if you are out in the sun doing an on-site job. It revitalizes and nourishes your face, and cleans it so you don’t feel dusty anymore. And what is more, it doesn’t require face wash, water, or even a handkerchief – it is everything in itself.
5. Eyeliner and Lipstick Remover
Now I really like The Face Shop products, but I feel they are slightly costly. But this is a product that I really like. This product is a lipstick and eyeliner cleanser, or basically anything you have applied to your lips and eyes, including eyeshadows and makeup and lip glosses. The reason for using a separate product for lips and eyes is because this region is more sensitive than the rest of the face, which is why The Face Shop is softer on those regions.
6. Facial Foam
After removing makeup, a good habit is to apply something on the face that supplies it with the necessary hydration and nutrients that it looses due to the application of makeup for a long time. This Facial foam is a good skin lightening option as skin tends to become darker over time after repeated use of makeup. It also ads radiance to the skin. Lakme and Loreal are best known for their skin radiance products so you can use either. There is an option of using serum over foam too.
These are the products that work for me, but you are free to surf Nykaa’s website and select from its hundreds of products as per your like, budget, skin type and choice. But make sure you have just as good a makeup removal product set as you have a makeup set. Caio!
