Manohar Parrikar, who passed away yesterday. He was the Cheif Minister of Goa.

- Manohar Parrikar was born on 13 December 1955 in Mapusa, Goa
- He completed his schooling in Marathi medium from Loyola High School
- Parrikar became a Sanghachalak (local RSS unit head) at age 26
- Parrikar married Medha Parrikar in 1981
- His first government lasted till 27 February 2002 but he was re-elected on 5 June 2002
