Mozilla, the company better known for its Firefox web browsers, has announced a ‘new’ version of its Firefox browser in India. The browser app is made for smartphone users and aims to compete with Google Chrome but with a ‘difference’. The difference is that the browser will save mobile data while browsing on the go.
The new, light-weight mobile browser takes under 4MB of space in smartphones and is only available on Android for now. It also comes with a number of features including Turbo Mode, less space taking and privacy from ad trackers.
Some of the other features included are ad blocking, Night Mode, an offline saving of webpages and the ability to save browser downloads to microSD card. The app requires Android 5 and later OS versions to run.
