3. Unhygienic vegetable and fruits
It is always advised to eat loads of fruits and vegetbale during pregnancy. But, are you sure you are eating them in the right way? The fruits and vegetbale which are not washed must not be consumed by a pregnant women. It contains harmful bacteria which usually comes from where the vegtables are grown.
So, pregnant women must always wash the vegetables and fruits and peel them evenly. the bacteria prone area must be elininated totally. It is also advised to saute the leafy vegetable and not eat it raw.
4. Allergic food items
Pregnant women are specifically allergic to certain food items. Some of them include peanuts, eggs, cow’s milk, nuts, soy, wheat, hazelnut, fish and shellfish. These food items are said to affect the growth of your baby. However, it is advisable to consult your doctor before having the final verdict. Incase of allergies one must always ask the doctor with who they are having the regular checkups.
5. Caffeine in excess
Caffeine is one of those food items which gets a BIG NO for the pregnant ladies. One must avoid it during the pregnancy and especially during th first trimister. caffeine is responsible for miscarriage and low birth weight of your child. Limit the intake to 150-200 mg per day.
Caffeine is also infused in dark choclates, drinks and many other food items. pregnant women in partuclar should not consume coffee at all.
6. Food Items in Can
canned food items should not be consumed during pregnancy. Studies have shown that canned food contains BPA which is toxic for both mother and baby. It affects fertility and causes probelsm in liver, heart of a pregnant lady. Mercury is infused in canned salads and cnned tuna which is again dangerous for pregant women.
raw sprouts are something which regant ladies must stay away from. They have listeria and salmonella which causes premature birth and miscarriage. It is better to switch to normal and balanced diet rather than eating sprouts. Some sprouts which must eradicated from the diet are broccoli, sunflower, onion, mung beans, radish, soybean.
8. Street Food Items
It is very important for a pregnant woman to take cae of her diet. So, they must avoid eating street food. Street food is prone to environmental pollution no matter how careful they are. It is sometimes also not prepered with proper hygiene which is not good for the growth of your child. So, these food items must not be consumed.
