Spec-tacular Specification (1/4)

The first version had a Broadcom BCM28145 Dual Vore 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB Storage, 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth 3.0.

The new second generation has a Mediatek 8127D Quad-core ARM 1.3 GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB Storage, 802.11ac WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.1.

In easier words, the stick is much better in a lot of ways in comparison to its predecessor, The Fire Box. The video output resolution is the same for both versions of the stick, with High definition 720p or 1080p often upgradeable to 4K HDR. This means you get reliable, high-quality shows with zero-frills.
